فلقد روي أن عيسى عليه السلام قال: 'ماذا يكسب الإنسان إذا فاز بكل شيء وخسر نفسه'.

ولئن اختلف الأطباء في كيفية ثبوت موت الإنسان طبيًا، فقال بعضهم: إن موت الإنسان يثبت عند توقف القلب، وقال الآخرون: بل يثبت موت الإنسان عند توقف المخ؛ لأنه ثبت أن في بعض الحالات يتوقف القلب ويظل المخ يعمل، فبعيدًا عن قول الأطباء فإننا نقول لك: احذر أن تموت وأنت على قيد الحياة بأن تفقد مصدر الطاقة في رحلة حياتك وهو:



الثقة بالنفس:

إن الثقة بالنفس هي طريق النجاح في الحياة، وإن الوقوع تحت وطأة الشعور بالسلبية والتردد وعدم الاطمئنان للإمكانات هو بداية الفشل، وكثير من الطاقات أهدرت وضاعت بسبب عدم إدراك أصحابها لما يتمتعون به من إمكانات أنعم الله بها عليهم لو استغلوها لاستطاعوا أن يفعلوا الكثير، والناس لا تحترم ولا تنقاد إلى من لا يثق بنفسه وبما عنده من مبادئ وقيم وحق، كما أن الهزيمة النفسية هي بداية الفشل، بل هي سهم مسموم إن أصابت الإنسان أردته قتيلاً.

يقول مونتغمري في كتابه 'الحرب عبر التاريخ': 'أهم مميزات الجيوش الإسلامية لم تكن في المعدات أو التسليح أو التنظيم, بل كانت في الروح المعنوية العالية'.


ما هي الثقة بالنفس؟
يقول جرودون بايرون: 'إن الثقة بالنفس هي الاعتقاد في النفس والركون إليها والإيمان بها'.

وأوضح من هذا تعريف الدكتور أكرم رضا: 'هي إيمان الإنسان بأهدافه وقراراته وبقدراته وإمكاناته, أي الإيمان بذاته'.

والثقة بالنفس لا تعني الغرور أو الغطرسة، وإنما هي نوع من الاطمئنان المدروس إلى إمكانية تحقيق النجاح والحصول على ما يريده الإنسان من أهداف.
