مشرف يكشف اتفاقيات سرية مع واشنطن
أكد الرئيس الباكستاني السابق برويز مشرف، أن الحكومة الباكستانية أقرت سرا لأمريكا باستعمال الطائرات المشغلة بدون طيار في عمليات على أراضيها، وذلك في تصريحات تصدر للمرة الأولى على لسان إحدى الشخصيات السياسية البارزة في باكستان، وأشار مشرف أمس الجمعة، إلى أن الحكومة الباكستانية وافقت على عمليات للولايات المتحدة على أراض باكستانية في حالات خاصة فقط، وعندما يتم التأكد من خلو المنطقة المستهدفة من المدنيين، لعدم إحداث أضرار دائمة، مضيفاً أن الأمر حصل في مرات نادرة ، وأضاف مشرف قائلا بأن السلطات الباكستانية كانت تسمح بهجوم الطائرات الأمريكية بدون طيار، بشرط التباحث في انخراط الجيش أو الاستخبارات، إن "لم يكن هنالك متسع من الوقت، أمام القوات الباكستانية للتصرف بمفردها ، وأضاف مشرف موضحا أن من بين من قتلتهم الطائرات الأمريكية على الأراضي الباكستانية، شخص يدعى نيك محمد، وهو قائد قبلي اتهم بتقديمه المساعدة والمأوى لمليشيات تنظيم القاعدة في المنطقة الغربية من البلاد؛ حيث أشارت الاستخبارات الباكستانية إلى أن صاروخاً باكستانياً تسبب بمقتل محمد في جوان عام 2004 ، وقالتمصادر أمريكية إن هذه التصريحات يمكن أن يكون لها تداعياتها على المجتمع الباكستاني؛ إذ كانت الحكومة الباكستانية تصر بأن الهجمات التي أجرتها واشنطن كانت بقرار منفرد منها، دون الرجوع لباكستان، خاصة وأن هذه الهجمات التي بدأت منذ عام 2004 تسببت بمقتل 1990 باكستانيا، ممن بينهم مئات المدنيين، وذلك وفقاً لإحصائية أجرتها مؤسسة رسم السياسات العامة المستقلة "New American Foundation".يشار إلى أن مشرّف استقال من منصبه عام 2008، وعاد الشهر الماضي ليؤسس لحملة سياسية ليعاود الانخراط بالحياة السياسية.
