المقامة "الجادارمية "

حدثنا أبي - وما أمتع حديثه وأكثر حثيثه لو كتب بالإبر على ﺁماق البصر لكان عبرة لمن يعتبر - قال لنا :
كان " السي بن حسين " شيخا في الثمانين مع ذلك مازهدت نواته ، وما اعوجت قناته ، بل ظل بادنا فارعا ، لهامته رافعا ، وافي المقاطع شديد الأسر، طويل المرافع أثخن الخصر . وكان على تقدم سنه لوذعيا شاهد اللب ، ألمعيا متقن الخب ، ساس الدنيا وحلب شطورها ، وخبر الحياة وفرز عصورها ، فأوسع الله عليه رزقه ، وشعب له عذقه ، فكان يملك من الأبناء والأحفاد زهاء الأربعين .
خرج يوما بسيارته الفاخرة ، قاصدا إحدى جنائنه الوافرة ، فاستوقفه حاجز الدرك ، ومن جمعهم تقدم الأرك وكان أمعطا كالحا ، متنطعا جامحا ، اقبل متمطيا في سمت المائق ، وطلب منه استظهار الوثائق ، وراح يقلبها ويعيد ، وكأنه يفتش عما يريد !
فوجد كل شيء في تمامه ، لكنه أبى إلا أن يستفز الشيخ بكلامه ، فقال له : يا عم ألا ترى أن الزمن قد تجاوزك ؟ والقبر قد ناهزك ؟
ألا اقترح عليك ما فيه راحة البال ، ورزق الحلال ؟ أليس الأليق بك أن تبيع هذه الحديدة المخادعة ، وتشتري قطيع أغنام نافعة ،
وتمضي يومك بين العطلان والمروج ، وترتاح من عباد الزمن المروج ، فارتجل الشيخ في هدوء ورصانة واتاه ببليغ العيانة
وقال له فكرتك أعجبتني لولا أنها أعجزتني ، كما رأيت من حالي تخطاني الزمن وجاز، وما قويت على الوثوب إلا بعكاز ، وما أضع اللوم ، إلا على شباب اليوم ، تركوا مهنة الرعي في بواديهم الفاسحة الهنية ، وصاروا كلهم جادارمية !
