100 أسترالي في صفوف ”جبهة النصرة” السورية
أعربت أستراليا عن قلقها بشأنها أمنها على خلفية انخراط عدد من مواطنيها في القتال بسوريا، حيث اعتبرت وزارة الخارجية الأسترالية أن مشاركة مواطنيها في النزاع الدائر في سوريا إلى جانب المعارضة المسلحة بمثابة تهديد جدي لأمن البلاد. وأشارت وسائل إعلام أسترالية إلى أن ما يقارب 200 مواطن أسترالي معظمهم من أصول شرق ـ أوسطية يحاربون ضمن صفوف مجموعات المعارضة السورية ضد الجيش النظامي، غير أن بوب كار وزير الخارجية الأسترالي رفض في مقابلة مع إحدى القنوات التعليق على هذه الأرقام والمعطيات، على اعتبار سرية المعلومات، مؤكدا أن الاستخبارات الأسترالية تتعاطى مع هذه المسألة بشكل جدي للغاية، لكن الوزير لم ينف في الوقت ذاته أن سوريا أضحت في الآونة الأخيرة بؤرة استقطاب للجهاديين من مختلف أنحاء العالم. وتشير المعطيات الإعلامية إلى وجود 100 أسترالي يقاتلون في صفوف ”جبهة النصرة” التي أدرجتها أستراليا الشهر الماضي في قائمة المنظمات الإرهابية.
