ومن ذلك انها منهية عن الخضوع في القول عند مخاطبة الرجال الأجانب فقد قال الله تعالى لأكمل نساء العالمين وأبعدهن عن الريب:'يا نساء النبي لستن كأحد من النساء ان اتقيتن فلا تخضعن بالقول فيطمع الذي في قلبه مرض وقلن قولا معروفا' الأحزاب 32
قال ابن العربي في تفسيره :فامرهن أن يكون قولهن جزلا وكلامهن فصلا ولا يكون على وجه يحدث في القلب علاقة بما يظهر عليه من اللين المطمع للسامع واخذ عليهن ان يكون قولهن معروفا..
