إنه القلق والاكتئاب والهم والحزن هم ما يأكلون المرء منا يا صديقي ! .
فالقلق يسبب توتر الأعصاب واعتلال المزاج .. وتوتر الأعصاب يحول العصارة الهاضمة في المعدة إلى عصارات سامة تنهش جدرانها فتصيبها بالقرحة ، وكثيرا من الأطباء يُرجع بعض الأمراض كالسكر وبعض أمراض القلب وبعض أمراض المخ إلى القلق والاكتئاب والخوف من المجهول .

إن أكثر الأخطاء التي نرتكبها في حق أنفسنا
هي أن نُسلم هذه النفس إلى القلق والاكتئاب ومشاعر الإخفاق والإحباط .


كثير منا يقفون مكتوفي اليد أمام أول عقبة تعترض طريقهم ،
فيُسيلون الدمع مدرارا ، ويكتنفهم الحزن والألم ،
وكأنهم ينتقمون من أنفسهم بالهم والأرق والاكتئاب .

وبالرغم من أن عجلة الحياة تدور
.. إلا أننا كثيرا ما نقف عند لحظات التعاسة والشقاء ،
ولا نعبرها إلى أيام السعادة والهناء ..

نأخذ نصيبنا من الألم كاملا ولا نصبر حتى ننال حظنا من السعادة ..
ونأكل أنفسنا في شراهة عجيبة ! .


كل البشر يواجهون مشاكل وعراقيل ،
لكن تعاملهم مع هذه المشاكل هو الذي يحدد معدن الرجال ، وعمق نضجهم .
إن مما يروى من حكم الأولين أن لا تغضب من شيء لا تستطيع تغييره.


إن عقبات الحياة لا يجب أن نقابلها بضيق وقلق ،
بل نأخذها على أنها دروس نتعلم منها .
لقد طبقت هذا الأمر في حياتي وهالني حجم الفوائد التي تعود علي منه


فكل تجربة غير موفقة هي درس ،
وأي خسارة يجب أن نأخذها على أنها مصل يقوينا ضد أزمات الحياة .


ودروس الحياة يا صديقي ليست بالمجان ، لذا فلا تتأفف وتحزن حينما تدفع تكاليف تلك الدروس
، بل كن واعياً نبيهاً ،
وتقبل عن طيب نفس أن تدفع الضرائب نظير ما أخذت وتعلمت .


وليكن ثأرك الحقيقي من ملمات الحياة ومشكلاتها هو
النجاح الكاسح فلا ترضى بسواه بديلا ،
ليكن ردك على الخسائر بتكرار المحاولة وعدم اليأس .




أما البكاء والقلق والخوف فتلك بضاعة قليلي الحيلة والضعفاء ،
اتركها لهم .. و لينعموا بها .
