الشبل الذى فقد اهله من الاسود وعاش مع قطيع الغنم

فى يوم فقد الشبل الرضيع أهله من الاسود وظل هائما على وجهه إلى أن مر

به قطيع من الغنم فسار الشبل معها وصاحبها وأكل الأعشاب كما تأكل

وكان يرعى الكلأ كما ترعى إلى أن شب وكبر ونما وترعرع ولكنه لا يزال

يمأمئ كما تمأمئ الغنم ولم يلفت انتباهه تفوقه عليها قوة وشجاعة .

وفى صباح ذهب ليشرب من النهر فرأى صورته فتعجب إنها لا تشبه أباه

الكبش ولا أخاه الحمل ولا أمه النعجة !! فصادف فيلا وسأله : من أنا ؟

قال له : أنت أسد وسليل أسود .

حينئذ زأر زئير طارت لهوله قلوب الكباش , تلك التى كان يمأمئ معها قبل قليل .

ماذا حدث لهذا الحيوان ؟ وما الذى طرأ عليه وما الذى تغير فيه ؟

لا شئ سوى أنه أكتشف نفسه , وأبدى قدرته , وكشف الغطاء عن ذاته .

فكن واثقا من نفسك وحينئذ سيتبين لك أنك تملك الكثير.
