إسرائيل ستدمر ترسانات السلاح السورية حال سقوط الأسد
أعلن قائد القوات الجوية الإسرائيلية الميجر جنرال، عمير ايشيل، أن إسرائيل مستعدة لمهاجمة سوريا لتدمير ترسانات الأسلحة في حال سقوط الرئيس بشار الأسد.

وأضاف ايشيل أن على الإسرائيليين الاستعداد لصراع طويل ومؤلم إذا دخلت قواتهم معركة مع حزب الله أو إيران التي تدعمه.

وأكد الجنرال الإسرائيلي أن أفضل أنظمة الدفاع الجوي الروسية - أس 300 - "في طريقها" إلى سوريا لكنه لم يوضح مصدر تلك المعلومات.

وأضاف في مؤتمر بمعهد فيشر لدراسات الطيران والفضاء بالقرب من تل أبيب "إذا انهارت سوريا غدا فسوف نحتاج إلى اتخاذ إجراء لمنع النهب الاستراتيجي للأسلحة المتطورة."

وقال ايشيل "يجب أن نكون مستعدين لأي سيناريو للتصرف خلال ساعات."

وأشار قائد القوات الجوية الإسرائيلية إلى احتمال أن يتطور الصراع إلى حرب على ثلاث جبهات في وقت واحد مما يتطلب من القوات الجوية الإسرائيلية استخدام "المدى الكامل لقدراتها".

وهاجمت الطائرات الحربية الإسرائيلية سوريا ثلاث مرات على الأقل هذا العام لتدمير ما قالت مصادر مخابراتية إنها صواريخ متطورة مضادة للطائرات وصواريخ أرض-أرض كانت في طريقها إلى حزب الله. كما تخشى إسرائيل أن يفقد الأسد السيطرة على مخزوناته من الأسلحة الكيماوية.

وتخشى إسرائيل أن يضيق فارق تفوقها العسكري عن سوريا إذا حصل الأسد على وسائل روسية متقدمة للدفاع الجوي والساحلي.
