عندما اشتدّت غفوت، وقلبي مترع بكؤوس الحنين
لأشهق:
ناياتك ، وعودي الأصفر معشّقين بالذبول
آه يا زمن!
لو تميد الخطى فأعود لوراء الوراء
أغرف الدّقائق وما تبقى من العمر،
رغم رقائقي، ضعفي ، انشطاري،
والجرح ال يكبر في حضرة الصّمت،
ويتّسع عند الهدير،
فيضيّعني!
أستشير النّدى،
يوقد جمر المعاني
يبوء للرّمل بأسراري
وأسحبني للحظتين،
منك،
من زمني،
من الليل ال يسكب في فنجاني
ظلمة الأشواق واتّساعها
يهيل عند الفجر بعض رماد
ناياتك، وعودي الأصفر معشّقين بالذبول
والمساء يربكني
يرسل بساط السماء يغريني أنّ الأفق لنا
أعاصيره شهقاتنا
والدمع يغسل قلوبا
