ملك لسنة واحدة فقط

منذ زمن طويل كانت هناك مدينة يحكمها ملك
وكان أهل هذه المدينة يختارون الملك بحيث يحكم فيهم سنة واحدة فقط وبعد ذلك يرسل الملك إلى جزيرة بعيدة حيث يكمل فيها بقية عمره ويختار الناس ملك آخر غيره وهكذا أنهى أحد الملوك فترة الحكم الخاصة به وألبسه الناس الملابس الغالية وأركبوه فيلا كبيراً وأخذوا يطوفون به في أنحاء المدينة قائلين له وداعاً وكانت هذه اللحظة من أصعب لحظات الحزن والألم على الملك وجميع من كان قبله.

ثم بعد ذلك وضعوه في السفينة التي قامت بنقله إلى الجزيرة البعيدة حيث يكمل فيها بقية عمره
ورجعت السفينة إلى المدينة وفي طريق العودة اكتشفوا إحدى السفن التي غرقت منذ وقت قريب ورأوا شاباً متعلق بقطعة من الخشب عائمة على الماء فأنقذوه وأخذوه إلى بلدتهم وطلبوا منه أن يكون ملكاً عليهم لمدة سنة واحدة ولكنه رفض في البداية ثم وافق بعد ذلك وأخبره الناس على التعليمات التي تسود هذه المدينة وأنه بعد مرور 12 شهراً سوف يحمل إلى تلك الجزيرة التي تركوا فيها ذاك الملك الأخير
بعد ثلاث أيام من تولي الشاب للعرش في هذه المدينة سأل الوزراء هل يمكن أن يرى هذه الجزيرة حيث أرسل إليها جميع الملوك السابقين ووافق الوزراء وأخذوه إلى الجزيرة
ورآها وقد غطت بالغابات الكثيفة وسمع صوت الحيوانات الشريرة وهي تنطلق في أنحاء الجزيرة
نزل الملك إلى الجزيرة وهناك وجد جثث الملوك السابقين ملقاة على الأرض وفهم الملك القصة
بأنه مالبث أن ترك الملوك السابقون في الجزيرة أتت إليه الحيوانات المتوحشة وسارعت بقتلهم والتهامه
عندئذ عاد الملكإلى مدينته وجمع 100 عامل أقوياء وأخذهم إلى الجزيرة وأمرهم بتنظيف الغابة وإزالة جثث الحيوانات والملوك السابقين وإزالة قطع الأشجار الصغيرة وكان يزور الجزيرة مرة في الشهر ليطل على سير العمل وكان العمل يتقدم بخطوات سريعة فبعد مرور شهر واحد أزيلت الحيوانات والعديد من الأشجار الكثيفة
وعند مرورالشهر الثاني كانت الجزيرة قد أصبحت نظيفة تماماً. ثم أمر الملك العمال بزرع الحدائق في جميع أنحاء الجزيرة وقام بتربية بعض الحيوانات المفيدة مثل الدجاج والبط والماعز والبقر ... الخ
ومع بداية الشهر الثالث أمر العمال ببناء بيت كبير ومرسى للسفن وبمرور الوقت تحولت الجزيرة إلى مكان جميل وقد كان الملك ذكياً فكان يلبس الملابس البسيطة وينفق القليل على حياته في المدينة في مقابل أنه كان يكرس أمواله التي وهبت له في إعمار هذه الجزيرة
وبعد مرور 9 أشهر جمع الملك الوزراء قائلاً أنه يعلم أن الذهاب للجزيرة يتم بعد مرور 12 شهر من بداية حكمه. ولكنه يود الذهاب إلى الجزيرة الآن
ولكن الوزراء رفضوا قائلين حسب التعليمات لابد أن تنتظر 3 شهور أخرى ثم بعد ذلك تذهب للجزيرة
مرت الثلاثة شهور واكتملت السنة وجاء دور الملك ليتنقل إلى الجزيرة ألبسه الناس الثياب
الفاخرة ووضعوه على الفيل الكبير قائلين له وداعاً أيها الملك. ولكن الملك على غيرعادة الملوك السابقين كان يضحك ويبتسم وسأله الناس عن ذلك فأجاب بأن الحكماء يقولون: " عندما تولد طفلاً في هذه الدنيا تبكي بينما جميع من حولك يضحكون
فعش في هذه الدنيا واعمل ما تراه حتى يأتيك الموت وعندئذ تضحك بينما جميع من حولك يبكون

فبينما الملوك السابقين كانوا منشغلين بمتعة أنفسهم أثناء فترة الملك والحكم كنت أنا مشغولاً بالتفكير في المستقبل وخططت لذلك وقمت بإصلاح وتعمير الجزيرة وأصبحت جنة صغيرة يمكن أن أعيش فيها بقية حياتي بسلام

والدرس المأخوذ من هذه القصة الرمزية أن هذه الحياة الدنيا هي مزرعة للآخرة ويجب علينا ألا نغمس أنفسنا في شهوات الدنيا عازفين عن الآخرة حتى ولو كنا ملوك . فيجب علينا أن نعيش حياة بسيطة مثل رسولنا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ونحفظ متعتنا إلى الآخرة

ولا ننسى قول رسولنا الكريم صلوات الله وسلامه عليه: لن تزول قدما عبد يوم القيامة حتى يسأل عن أربع خصال : عن عمره فيما أفناه ، وعن شبابه فيما أبلاه ، وعن ماله من أين اكتسبه وفيما أنفقه ، وعن علمه ماذا عمل فيه
