ضبط سيارة مفخخة بـ500 كلغ متفجرات
نجح الجيش اللبناني، اليوم الجمعة، في ضبط سيارة مفخخة بـ500 كلغ من المواد المتفجرة، في وقت تحيي البلاد الذكرى السبعين للاستقلال في ظل مخاوف من انزلاقها إلى حرب أهلية على خلفية النزاع في سوريا.

وبعد أيام على استهداف السفارة الإيرانية في بيروت بتفجير انتحاري مزدوج أسفر عن مقتل أكثر من 20 شخصا بينهم دبلوماسي إيراني، قال الجيش اللبناني إنه ضبط في البقاع الشمالي سيارة كانت معدة للتفجير.

وعن ظروف العملية، قال مصدر أمني إن الجيش كان اشتبه بالسيارة وحاول اعتراضها قبل أن تتبادل العناصر الأمنية وركاب السيارة إطلاق الرصاص، لكن المسلحين تمكنوا من الفرار. ثم عثر الجيش على السيارة متوقفة الى جانب الطريق عند طرف مقنة.
