ايها المترجح في الافق
كنت تزعم انك تسافر في الحقول الحمراء المختلطة بالاصفر
لقد نطق الشيب فيك بلغز الوقار الممحص
انها بداية في نواة العمر المسطر
لقد اغمد السيف في غمده المعلق
لقد تحطمت بروج مزخرفة بتنور ممددة
لتكون لمرمى الرماح مجهز
تنظر الى قوة الايادي تتحمس
لتكون لتلك الايام وسن في الاحلام
ايها المترجح في ارجوحة الوغى
لقد اخترت قناع ليس له امل
فاملك روعة النفس والستر
ايها العمر كنت انوي الاصطياد في ارض الورع
فكانت ارجوحتي تغزو الوديان والاراضي الواسعة
وفي تلك اللحظات تدور من شدة الانطلاق
لقد انتهت الكلمات وتعطلت في السكون
هكذا كانت حرب الفرسان تتلبد
لتظهر مرة اخرى في ارض الكنعان
تجيب اسئلة المنقول و المعارض
وتكون ارجوحتي بحبل من المواثيق
تحت زيتونة مطلة من الاعالي
اركبها في حر الشدائد
هكذا هي ارجوحتي .
