لصوص يسرقون مواد مشعة بالمكسيك
قالت السلطات في المكسيك، إن لصوصا سرقوا، أمس الخميس، شاحنة محملة بمادة مشعة خطيرة، وقالت وزارة الداخلية في بيان إن الشحنة المشعة، وهي عنصرالأيريديوم-192، تستخدم عادة في عمليات الإشعاع الصناعي.

وقال البيان إن المادة وضعت في حاوية خاصة، وتمثل خطرا على الصحة إذا تم العبث بالحاوية.

وفي أواخر العام الماضي سرق لصوص شاحنة محملة بمادة مشعة خطرة للأغراض الطبية، قالت الأمم المتحدة إنها قد توفر عنصرا لصنع "قنبلة قذرة".

وعثر لاحقا على الشحنة المشعة بعد أن ألقاها اللصوص قرب المكان الذي سرقت منه.
