أول معلومة وردت حول إسقاط الطائرة كانت من جماعة مسلحة
قال مصدرحكومي جزائري، إن إحدى الحركات المسلحة أبلغتنا بخبر سقوط الطائرة الجزائرية في شمال مالي. وقال: "أول معلومة وردت حول إسقاط الطائرة كانت من جماعة مسلحة".

واستبقالمصدر "تخمينات" وسائل الإعلام، داعيا إياهم إلى ضبط النفس وانتظار التحقيقات وعدم الاستغراق في التخمينات والمعلومات المغلوطة، حتى لا تؤثر الكتابات على عائلات الضحايا وعلى "الحقيقة".

وأوضح، أنه منذ اللحظة الأولى لاختفاء الطائرة، جرت الاتصالات مع وزير الخارجية الإسباني، وأيضا مع الحكومة الفرنسية مع سلطات كل من النيجر ومالي وبوركينافاوسو.
