4 قطع متوسطة من الجنزبيل الطازج
6 أكواب ماء
2/1 كوب عسل نحل
2/1 كوب سكر
1 كوب عصير ليمون
2/1 كوب صنوبر

الطريقة:
- يقشر الجنزبيل ثم يقطع لحلقات صغيرة.
- يضاف الماء ويوضع على نار متوسطة الحرارة حتى يبدأ بالغليان.
- يضاف السكر والعسل وعصير الليمون.
- يخلط جيداً حتى يذوب السكر تماماً.
- يغطى الخليط ويترك جانباً بعيداً عن النار حتى يتشرب الماء نكهة الجنزبيل لحوالي 45 دقيقة.
- يصفى المشروب ونتخلص من قطع الجنزبيل.
- يقدم دافئاً ويزين بقليل من الصنوبر المحمص و يمكن تقديمه مثلجاً.
يمكن استخدام الجنزبيل الجاف المطحون مع مراعاة تغير الكمية حسب نوعية الجنزبيل.
عند قياس مقدار العسل يدهن الكوب بالإصبع بقليل جداً من الزيت وهذا يساعد على عدم التصاق العسل بالإناء.
