Given that our gray brains are nothing more than a smart collection of atomic particles, our experiences could be described as an interpretation of a set of electrical signals in our brains. We do our best to condense all of those signals into our perception of the world around us (and within us), But who is to say that schizophrenics' auditory aren’t hallucinations or the incredible visual landscapes experienced while using psychedelics a kind of bleed through between various realities? How do we know this is true? We can never prove that the stuff we see around us is real, but the holographic principle suggests that it may be a projection of some underlying probability.
Quantum mechanics describes the world using wave functions, not objects and forces and space-time. Nevertheless, the world is still real, regardless of whether it is a hologram or not.
The holographic principle does not imply that the Universe does not exist. It simply means that the Universe we live in, which exists within space-time, is CONSTRUCTED from more fundamental building blocks. "Real" is sometimes used to mean "fundamental," but this is a very narrow interpretation of the term. Because living things are made up of particles, life isn't fundamental, but that doesn't make it any less real. It's a higher-level occurrence.
The other aspect is: How do we know we're not being completely fooled? In other words, forgetting about whether there is a deeper level of reality, how do we know whether the world we see represents reality at all? How do we know, for example, that our memories of the past are accurate? Maybe we are just brains living in vats, or maybe the whole Universe was created last Thursday.

Such scenarios can never be ruled out by experimental science. They could be correct! But who cares? Believing in them does not help us understand any aspects of our Universe, and it places us in a position where we have no right to rely on anything we do believe to be true. In short, there is no actual evidence for any of these extreme scenarios. In that case, there's not much to be concerned about.
Inter-subjective agreement is the closest thing to "real" or "objective" in science. We can assume that something is real if a large number of people agree on it. In physics, something is said to be an objective feature of nature if all observers agree on it - in other words, if it does not depend on our arbitrary labels or the vagaries of a given vantage point. For instance, I'm not entitled to say that my kitchen has a left side and a right side, since the labels "left" and "right" depend on my vantage point; they are words that describe me more than the kitchen. This kind of reasoning is the heart of Einstein's theory of relativity and the theories it inspired.
Inter-subjective agreement is the basis of reality, even if everyone is being fooled. The simulation itself has a structure that creates a reality, which is our reality, the one we need to navigate[1].
René Descartes was a philosopher, mathematician, and scientist from France. Descartes, known as the "Father of Modern Western Philosophy," argues that if we can't tell whether we're dreaming or not, how can we know any truth about the world we appear to live in? His famous statement "I think, therefore I am" stems from the realization that in order to think or even be deceived, one must exist, and that is the only undeniable truth.
Let us delve into the profound wisdom of the Holy Quran, where it eloquently describes our existence as souls seamlessly woven into the fabric of our earthly vessels:
“And it is He who created you from a single soul, and fashioned it into a harmonious existence. We have meticulously elucidated these verses for humanity, that they may attain understanding.” (Quran, Surah Al-Anam, verse 98)
In this verse, Allah’s divine craftsmanship is evident. He fashioned the first human, Prophet Adam (peace be upon him), from a singular essence, and from him, Eve (Hawwa) emerged as his companion. Their union symbolizes the interconnectedness of all souls, each a unique note in the cosmic symphony.
The term “harmonious existence” resonates deeply. Just as musical notes blend seamlessly to create a melodious chord, our souls harmonize within our mortal frames. Our bodies are vessels, vessels that house the eternal spark of divinity—the soul.
These verses serve as a beacon, illuminating the path toward understanding. They invite us to contemplate our purpose, our interconnectedness, and the delicate balance between body and soul. May we seek wisdom and unity through reflection upon these timeless words.
