Obama and a hope for a change

Barack Hussein Obama has entered the History book for being the first Black African world president.
It may have been a dream for known political figures such as Martin Luther King, but finally the dream has came true, and Barack Obama has been elected for the presidency of the United
States of America.

Today, people all over the world are willing to see the dream that they had for the last five years to come true; their dream is not just a new America but a new world full of peace.
Barcak Obama’s time is probably very difficult, and the
problems that are facing America are huge which Obama called “the irresponsibility” .

Obama needs to tackle several problems that the world is experiencing. Starting with the 2008 Economic crisis which was as a result of high demand of money and decreased supply; this crisis did not affect America only but the world as whole, and amongst those who have been severly affected were the Gulf countries.

An other problem that because of it the previous American president has been unpopular for is the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. The invasion of these two countires has raised huge concerns over the last few years as people all over the world were againt it and have always been objecting for the removal troops to leave the countries. During his speeches he mentioned more than once this topic and has said that he will give his Secretary of Defense and military commanders a new mission in Iraq: successfully ending the war. The removal of our troops will be responsible and phased.

However apprehension is being hoisted over Obama’s view on the Midde-east as he stated clearly in Jul 2008 that “Jerusalem should be capital of Israel, pending final status” This states clearly that Obama is clearly on the Israeli side although following the massacre on Gaza in that lasted over 20 days, he seemed to be wanting to achieve peace between the two sides; this is going to remain a question mark until then.
Surprisingly, Obama has kept his promise, and as a first day in the presidency he has signed and agreed for an order to close the detention centre at Guantánamo Bay in Cuba within a year.

So is the world’s dream for a change going to become
?true

I 'm not dreaming brother...Obama's statement regarding the middle-east was extremely disapointing..I nearly broke the TV screen while I was watching his speech ...but there is still some hope regarding the war in Iraq and Afghanistan...and other issues..Regards

Salam alaikum
I jus
t wanna say that the guy before he was elected, I watched him giving a speech to AIPAC « American Israel Public Affairs Committee » and he said that Israel will have its own country and its capital will be Al-Quds, so Palestinians have n-o right in Al-Quds.
It'd be better to do it ourselves and n-ot wait others to do it for us. We have the solution to all our issues but yet we prefer to be blind.
Peace
