أتيتُ اليكِ صبّـا مستهامـا فَضُمّي أضلعي وَدَعِي المَلاما


فما أحببتُ مثلك في حياتـي وكم جرَّبتُ في الماضي غراما


فلا سَأمٌ وأنتِ معي ألاقي وكم لاقيتُ في أمسي السَّآمـا


وكم من حلوة أبدتْ دلالا
فمال القلب عنها ثم لاما


وكم من حلوة غمزت بعينٍ
فما أوْلَيتُها مني اهتماما


طلعتِ مع النساء بليلِ عشقي
فكنتِ من النسا بدرا تماما


فحُسنكِ ليس يُوْصَفُ يا حياتي
وإنْ أبليتُ في الوصْفِ الكلاما


فأنتِ حبيبتي مهما ابْتَعدْنا
فلا تتوَقَّعي مني خِصَاما


وأنتِ رفيقتي بظلامِ دربي
إذا أقبَلتِ لا أخشى ظلاما


الا يا مصرُ خطبك قد شجانا وهشَّمنـا وَأثقَلَنـا حُطامـا


فمَنْ أدمـاكِ أدمانـا كأنّـا أمامكِ جُمَّدٌ نلقـى السِّهامـا


بدونك نحن أعرابٌ ضِيـاعٌة نهيمُ بلا مُجيرٍ كاليتامـى


ألا يا مصرُ ما أعلاكِ عندي
وما أدنى الثعالب واللئاما


صَبرتِ عليهمُ عُمرا طويلا
فما أعطوكِ حباً واحتراما


وهذا الابنُ لم يرْحمْكِ يوما
فما أبقى حلالا أو حراما


مُباركُ إنَّ عهدكَ قد تقضَّى كعهدِ المُسْتبدِّينَ القدامى


ظننتَ بأنَّ شعبكَ نامَ خوفا وها هوَ قد صَحا والخوفُ ناما


فألفُ تحية أبطالَ مصرٍ ملأتم وجه أمتنا ابتساما


زحفتم كالجبال بكلِّ عزْمٍ وهبَّ الشعبُ فاقتلعَ النظاما


كذلك حالُ من حكموا بهزء
وتلك نهاية ساءت مقاما


أنا فرحٌ وفي قلبي يقين
بأن الخوفَ قد هزَّ اللئاما


فيا حكام تذكرةٌ علينا
ولا تنسوا الحقائبَ والمَداما
