Salam Alaikum What is an idiom? Idiom is a set expression of two or more words that means something other than the literal meanings of its individual words. It can also be defined as: a word or phrase which means something different from what it says - it is usually a metaphor. Idioms are common phrases or terms whose meanings are not literal, but are figurative and only known through their common uses. This thread will be update frequently. |

Examples: 1- "Fares is nothing but a backslider. He’s never done anything useful in his life that would bring credit to his name or family.” 2- “If I ever get my hands on that backslider, Peter, I will kick him in the backside for letting down his wife and children by wasting his life on gambling and drink.” |

Examples: 1- “Don’t be such a leech! Go out and get a job and stop living off of others.” 2- “That guy is nothing but a leech. He never worked a day in his life and is always leeching and sponging off others.” |

Examples: 1- “Be careful who you trust, because even your best friend could turn out to be a backstabber.” 2- “I wouldn’t trust Charlie as far as I could throw him. He’s a liar, a thief and a back-stabber.” |

many backslider persons blame the others but they forget themselves and they are the main source of our seriouse problems.they are nothing but leeches.in addition to this.they are backstabbers.at any moments.they may commit unexpected crimes behind you.as a matter of fact.they are ciphers.no money .no intelligence.no high social prestige.we must go along with them to put an end for them effectively through our good actions.
