أكثر زاوية يخطئ فيها المترجمون هي ترجمة اللغة العامية slang أو idioms ،حيث يؤدي الخطأ في ترجمتها إلى إختلاف كبير في المعني.
اليكم أكثر المصطلحات إنتشارا في المجتمع الامريكي وسوف اوضح لكم مثال علي ترجمة المصطلحات:

هو مصطلح بمعني " ليس لدي أي فكرة”

Ex) It beats me how they finished before us

An idiom is a phrase does not mean what it literally translates to.
