Dear Susan,
I am in the Sahara. I arrived two weeks ago and it seems it was yesterday. Three days ago, I went to the Tassili to see the cave paintings. It was interesting and I learnt a lot. Did you know that cavemen lived more than 30.000 years ago in many different parts of the world? Inside their caves, they painted the pictures of the animals they killed. Sometimes, they painted them upside down to show that they were dead. Caveman hunted mammoths, bears and tigers to eat of course, but also for their skins to make clothes and wear them. Our guide told us that they made their paint from different plants. They got green, yellow and brown colours. I can't believe my trip is over but, as you know, everything comes to an end.
