ثناء على هارون يحيى من المعهد العالمي للأبحاث الإسلامية . (ISIM)
خصصت النشرية الصادرة عن المعهد العالمي للأبحاث الإسلامية مقالا مطولا حول هارون يحيى.
إن هذا المعهد الذي تأسس بالاشتراك مع الجامعات الهولندية ينشر أعمالا مختلفة عن المجتمعات الإسلامية في مختلف المناطق.

كتب الدكتور مارتن ريكسنجر مقالا بعنوان "هارون يحيى وعملية بعث الإسلام". وقد جاء في مقدمة هذا المقال ما مفاده أن مؤلفات المسلمين المتعلقة بالرد على نظرية التطور بقيت قاصرة حتى عام 1980. وحدث الانتقال الكبير في هذا الموضوع لأول مرة في تركيا، ويبين أن هارون يحيى يكشف في هذه المؤلفات بشكل واضح المآزق التي وقعت فيها نظرية التطور، ويضيف أن عدد الكتب التي ألفها هارون يحيى قد تجاوزت 180 كتابا. وجاء في المقال كذلك أن هارون يحيى يرأس شرفيا "وقف الأبحاث العلمية"، وقد أشرف هذا الوقف منذ عام 1898 على ملتقيات علمية حول موضوع "حقيقة الخلق"، وأضاف الكاتب بأن هذه المؤتمرات قد انتشرت بسرعة في جميع بلدان العالم.
وفي هذا المقال أوضح أيضا أن الكاتب تلقى تعليمه في جامعة المعمار سنان التي كانت قاصرة في المواضيع العلمية وهو ما جعل الكثير من الشباب في الفترة التي درس فيها يتعلقون بالنظريات المادية. ولهذا السبب كان تركيزه في مؤلفاته على الجوانب العلمية.
وذكر الكاتب أن هارون يحيى تعرض في عام 1999 إلى مؤامرة غير أنه تمكن من تجاوزها، ويضيف قائلا: "ومقالاته تنشر على صفحات الإنترنت بشكل فردي أو بشكل مؤسساتي، وقد جاءت شهرته العالمية من حيث أنه عرف كيف يستخدم تكنولوجيا الإنترنت بشكل واسع ومؤثر، وبذلك يمكن القول أنه أول عالم مسلم بنى قاعدته من خلال استعمال أحدث التقنيات التكنولوجية".
