Maybe you would want to swap places with my 94 year old neighbour for a while!
He is an Englishman who was in the British Marine during WWII. He was posted to Algeria and stayed in Blida and Annaba (he remembers it as Bone).
He has very fond memories of Algeria and wants to visit it once more. He also has many photographs of 1940s Algeria.
He used to tell me: 'I wonder what do you like in this country, Algeria is far better than here'.
I wish I could agree with him.
