Mysterious disappearance of 11 containers at the port of Algiers

Algiers- Eleven containers were missing at the port of Algiers for several days in ambiguous conditions, causing a scandal at the Customs.
According to informed sources, the eleven containers arrived at the port of Algiers a few days ago, were to be transferred to the Customs Warehouse in Bordj El Bahri, before being delivered to their owner after procedures or regulations. These have suddenly disappeared in ambiguous conditions.
According to the sources that have reported the information, the containers that contained cosmetics, according to the declaration, have disappeared despite the existence of surveillance cameras. The security guards and customs officers have failed to find them, prompting officials to open an investigation.
Customs officials believe that the containers contain something other than what was declared. Some even think of prohibited goods.
Investigations conducted by security services and units of Customs' control affect all workers, both the customs officials that security personnel a race against time to unravel the mystery of the disappearance of these containers and avoid a scandal whose effects will certainly be serious.
